12th Medical Research Symposium

The College of Medicine in Qassim University is pleased to announce the start of receiving the research abstracts for the 12th Medical Research symposium. We welcome all research projects from all disciplines related to the health field.

Objectives

Enhancing the importance of scientific research in the development of the health field.

Provide researchers in all health disciplines the opportunity to showcase their research findings.

Evaluation of research and give advice to researchers regarding the final publication.

Encourage health practitioners in Qassim region to attend and share their experience in health research.

Meeting of experts, scientists and researchers in the field of medical sciences to explore more and get new research ideas related to ongoing health problems.

Provide the opportunity for communication between the graduates and their faculty.

Rules for Participation

The research should be related to the health field and follows the scientific methodology.

All summaries will be subject to examination by plagiarism software.

The research or scientific paper submitted to the symposium has never been published by any others, whether scientific journal, conference or any other means.

All summaries are in English.

The abstract contains (the title of the research – the name of the researcher or the researchers – the university or the institution in which he works – the state) in Arabic and English.

Receiving abstracts and through the dedicated platform.

The participant chooses between oral or poster presentation.

The preliminary and final approval shall be issued after review by the Scientific Committee.

After final approval, the researcher shall prepare the research poster according to the specific requirements for that.

If an oral presentation is accepted, the PowerPoint presentation should be prepared to be presented within 15 minutes.

Use Vancouver Style in citations and references.

Submit the abstract as a text and upload as a file.

If you want, you can upload the full paper after abstract submission.

Target Group:

Doctors and health workers.

Medical and non- medical students.

Any person Interested in the field of health and development.

Symposium Date:

Tuesday 18 December 2018. To attend the symposium please register through this link.

Deadline for receiving research abstracts:

End of Thursday 22 November 2018. Submission through dedicated platform.

Registration :

1- Attendance fee 100 riyals paid in cash during the symposium.

Free for:

– Qassim University, College of Medicine staff and students.

– Oral and posters presenters of the symposium.

2- Online registration open until Monday Dec 17 – 8 am.

3- On-site registration open until Tuesday Dec 18 – 9am.

4- Certificate of Attendance will be sent to the registered email within two weeks (attendance mandatory).

*Accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialty with 5 CME hours
