3rd Rehabilitation Research Symposium

We at the College of Rehabilitation, Qassim University are happy to announce the
commencement of submission of the research abstracts for presentation as oral/posters at
the 3rd Research Day Symposium. We welcome submission from all research
scientists working in the field of Physical Therapy and Allied health Sciences. CMEs will be
given to the attendees.

Objectives

Provide physical therapy researchers, intern students and other allied research
scientists to showcase their research work.

Raising the awareness about the importance of research in the development of
health and rehabilitation needs of the society.

Brain storming discussions and evaluation of the research and give advice to
researchers regarding the final publication choice of journals of impact etc.

Encourage the physical therapists and health researchers in Qassim region to
attend and share their experience in their field of research and special case
studies.

Provide a platform to the experts, scientists, researchers and doctors involved
in the field of physical therapy and health sciences to explore more avenues
and new research ideas as per the need of the health and rehabilitation of the
society.

Initiate an opportunity for the interns, graduate students and the faculty to
discuss new interdisciplinary research areas and need of research at large.

Rules for Participation

The research work should be related to the field of rehabilitation or health
field following the scientific methodology.

All the abstracts will be scrutinized for plagiarism check.

The abstracts should be written in English as per the specified format.

The abstracts should be written as:
Title of research (Font 14, Times New Roman)
Names of the authors and their affiliation (Font 12, Times New Roman)
The bod of the abstract should be divided into the subheadings as Aim or
Objectives; Methods; Results; Discussion and Conclusion (Font 12, Times
New Roman).
The whole abstract should not exceed 300 words.

Maximum two abstracts can be submitted by a researcher (only ONE can be
an oral presentation).

The participant should choose between the oral and poster presentation.

All the abstracts should be submitted through the link provided below.

The number of oral presentations may be limited due to the time constraint
but they can be presented as posters.

The preliminary and final approval will be issued after the final decision of
the scientific review committee.

After the final approval the researcher shall prepare the posters as per
specifications.

For the accepted oral presentations the power points should be prepared for a
10 minute oral presentation followed by 5 minute discussion.

The references should be cited and listed in Vancouver style.

The abstracts should be submitted as text and uploaded as a file.

Physical therapist practitioners, faculty and students.

General audience having interest in Physical therapy.

Nurses working and assisting in Physical therapy clinics.

Symposium is open to all interested/involved in the field of Physical
Therapy.

Deadline for receiving research abstracts:

The deadline for the online submission of the abstracts is 15th feb 2019; the
final decision regarding the presentations will be intimated by 25th feb 2019.
