Students National Symposium for Graduation
Projects
A competitive national symposium gives opportunities for all senior undergraduate students in Saudi
Universities, majoring in applied sciences disciplines, to formally present their outstanding
graduation projects and collaborative work to their potential beneficiaries. At the end of the
Symposium, a number of awards are granted for the distinguished projects. These awards will highly
enforce competitiveness among participants and give winners an opportunity to represent Saudi Arabia
in international Symposiums sponsored by Qassim University. The Symposium seeks to attract
Entrepreneurs, Innovation Centers, and Businessmen in the Kingdom to implement these distinguished
projects into products to enhance the Kingdom’s economy and keep pace with the vision of Saudi
Arabia 2030.
Vision: Distinguished national competitive Symposium contributes effectively to motivate and direct
Saudi Students’ graduation projects in Engineering, and other technical fields to serve our economy.
Message: The National Symposium shows the trends of Saudi Students’ distinguished projects in the
Applied Technical Fields, and works on linking them with Innovation Centers, and Businessmen to
encourage students to represent the Kingdom in International Symposiums.
Objectives
Raising awareness among Saudi students of the importance of Scientific research, and
participation in Scientific Symposiums and journals.
Focusing on cooperation and interaction between Saudi Universities, and Industrial &
Technical Institutions.
Increasing the level of students’ knowledge exchange when they review their peers’
projects in other Saudi Universities.
Connecting students with the relevant Institution of Scientific research – Government
Sector, Private Sector or other Community Institutions.
Improving the quality of projects to serve the objectives of the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
